An Artist’s Perspective: Kabbalah and the Divine Feminine in Leonard Cohen’s Songs: A Talk and Recital by Sandra Zemor Celebrating the Mystical Poetry of Leonard Cohen’s Songs Sandra Zemor is a poet, singer, songwriter, artist, and filmmaker. She lives and works in Paris and Venice. She has released three albums of songs and published several art books featuring her minimalist black-and-white ink drawings, which illustrate collections of lyrics, some of the tales of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, and her own songs. Her films, created to accompany her songs as well as her covers of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, incorporate artistic and musical installations, artworks, drawings, paintings, and video art.
