About this event
As AI grows increasingly powerful and interconnected, the definition of expertise becomes murkier. What does it mean to be an expert when AI can generate cross-disciplinary insights? And how can we maintain meaningful human involvement, judgment, and accountability as our work becomes increasingly transdisciplinary?
Join us for an informal conversation exploring these questions in the context of both our daily work and the University of Rochester’s Boundless Possibility: 2030 Strategic Plan's vision for transdisciplinary research. Together, we will consider how human expertise and AI can complement one another, how we can keep humans meaningfully in the loop, and what these changes mean for collaboration, discovery, and learning across disciplinary boundaries. Bring your curiosity, questions, and perspectives.
