Rochester opens new MLK park playground today

A new playground in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park is now open. The playground is located at the corner of Manhattan Square Drive and Adventure Place.
The site features accessible and inclusive play equipment, as well as improved visitor amenities. Mayor Malik D. Evans says, "Play is how children learn, grow and discover the world around them."
The playground was designed with input from community groups and residents. It includes a spray feature and different playground zones to keep children active and engaged.
