By Local Rochester news desk

Local professionals can apply to mentor youth through November 4 for the 2026 Mayor’s Mentor Up Winter Gala, which takes place on December 12.

The gala is part of the Mayor's Mentor Up program, aimed at fostering connections between community role models and city youth ages 14-18.

“Every mentorship connection opens doors to real opportunities for our youth—inspiration, internships, and even future careers,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans.

The event will be held at The Inn on Broadway, providing a formal yet fun environment for young minds to practice networking with peers and leaders.
